You have a warped view of economics. Pricing an item for sale high as to reduce demand is not normal economics. I got in real fast and got Nov 3 but my wife had a longer delay with her phone and she has a Nov 17-24. I don’t know why my wife’s phone was delayed in accessing the Apple Store.

I have an iPhone 7 Plus and I am waiting for the iPhone X 256G and thus did not buy the iPhone 8. I will be buying two because my wife is also getting it.
We are part of the Apple Upgrade program and our payments will rise only about $10 a month each.
