  • Apple employees threaten to quit as company takes hard line stance on remote work

    Hill-fi’ing-larious.
so Apple employees are going to give up their benefits (they are great), their Employee Stock Purchase Plan (15% off the low every 6 months) and yearly RSUs (restricted stock grants} to works at home, yeah. No.
15 years working in Apple retail stores made me a million $ just through stock benefits. Those working for corporate in Coop, Austin, San Diego or Seattle I assume are doing a lot better than that.

  • First Google Store takes an opposite approach from Apple retail

Apple Stores began with wooden floors but have been replaced by stone due to wear. Laminated counter tops replaced by wood. Zero carpet in Apple stores. Again due to wear.
I am interested in revisiting this Google store in a year or so. I expect dust bunnies on the black suspended trim. Worn carpet and wood. On my calendar.

  • Intel-based MacBook Pro is Intel's latest anti-Apple campaign target

Interesting that the Mac has now become the the computer for "Serious" computer users and Windows/PC the computer for those that play games.

  • Snapchat says it's happy to pay Apple 30%, wouldn't exist without iPhone

The other option for developers is taking on the risk of creating their own platform and ecosystem, nurture it for 40 years, build the goodwill and customer base, compete with other multi-billion dollar companies, while exhibiting technical, design and financial discipline to become successful.

  • Congress members demand Apple exit China in letter to Tim Cook

All four are Republicans. All four voted against an investigation of the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. That gives you an idea of how deep their support of "democratic principles" actually goes.
That’s because the investigation into January 6 is nothing but a sham. It’s just another election issue for the Democrats. Believe me, they don’t want what really happened coming out. It wasn’t an insurrection. It wasn’t an attempt to overthrow the government. It was a few hundred idiots who got out of control, some bad actors and even some on the other side of the political spectrum who infiltrated the group. There were no weapons found. It was planned mostly on Twitter and Facebook. None of the fatalities had anything to do with violence. This is just an excuse to continue locking down the capitol and silence conservatives.  We can expect more of this as we approach the midterms. The Democrats know it is likely to be an electoral bloodbath for them.

"No weapons found" You keep using that word, I don't think you know what it means.
