  • Apple World Trade Center anti-union practices ruled illegal by Labor Board

Not surprised. Apple Retail management receives no real training unless they got it at Best Buy or Gap.

Please define what wafer cycle time is.

    From the web:

A simple way to look at cycle time is to apply a probability theory called Little’s Law in the fab. In this case, cycle time equals work-in-process (WIP) over the start rate, according to KLA-Tencor. For example, if a fab has 12,000 lots, and it processes 4,000 lots per month, the total cycle time is 3 months.

    or

Cycle time is the amount of time it takes to process a wafer lot in a fab from start to finish. An advanced logic process could have from 600 to 1,000 steps or more.

  • Unionized Apple Store seeks pay raises, customer tips

I wanted to go down the list but I'll just stick with tipping.
The pressure on employees to provide over the top personalized service to customers is already extreme in Apple Stores. Whether that be quick, one on one vs group interactions when the store is packed,  requests for limited products or jump the line service at the Bar. I can see on a launch day bidding for available product through tipping. How high would the bids go to be first into a new store? Or to get someone to hold a hot product in the back room for a couple days? It would happen in a heart beat.

Instead of taking selfies, why not try asking someone to take your picture for you? Ask a local, if you're traveling. You might make a friend, and learn things. I did.

    Yes!

  • Hollywood insiders like Apple TV+ design, but have issues with content curation

I pretty much avoid Netflix unless I'm heading to Great British Baking Show. Primarily because of the way preview videos load and play when browsing through what is available.
Amazon is just a load of C' and 'D' productions with the occasional 'B' production mixed in. Again a destination for Bosch and Reacher.
Disney+ is best only because I know what I'll find there.
AppleTV can strange because Up Next, AppleTV+ and content promoted from other services get mixed in a way I haven't consistently figured out.
YouTube on AppleTV box is just not good. Too repetitive .
Had my say for what it's worth.
