M2 Pro Mac mini review: Best price to performance Apple Silicon yet
Comparing only CPU performance does not make a lot of sense.
M1 Pro and M1 Max have the exact same CPU performance (unless the entry level M1 Pro with 2 disabled cores).
Same for M2 Pro and M2 Max.
...and yet every user/reviewer says that the Max versions are way faster than the Pro versions.
So saying that a M2 Pro Mac mini is faster than a M1 Max Mac Studio on the basis of CPU performance only is not serious at all. -
Casexy review: These adorable phones cases can take a hit
radarthekat said:My iPhone 13 Pro Max wears a better looking clear case with all the same protections, only here in The Philippines the cost is just 400 Philippine pesos, a little under $8USD. And I can have a stocker made from any image file for about $1. Maybe I need to start an import business. 🙂
The review says the logo and Memoji do not age well at all.
So I kept my current clear case and purchased stickers from my Memoji on Etsy for a far lower price.
Thanks for the idea though! -

Hands on with HomePod mini's temperature and humidity sensors
I updated by HomePod minis to 16.3 beta and they can say the temperature.
But it does not yet appear on my iPhone and Macs running non beta software, including in a 3rd party app
So the limitation seems hardcoded in the HomeKit somewhere else.
There is one very good new thing about HomePod 16.2 software: it now responds with a nice sound instead of a full phrase when it does.
