  • Apple's record $81.4 billion Q3 obliterates Street expectations

And AAPL after hour trading drops over 1%. What kind of WS bullshit is that?
As always, Wall Street doesn’t care about what you did today, it’s about what it thinks you will do in the future. And the Covid-19 delta variant has thrown a monkey wrench into the financial crystal ball, all because 50% of the population are dumb, ignorant morons. There’s also a study out that reveals 1-in-5 believe the vaccines contain microchips. That means 20% of the population are certified idiots.
You would think Wall Street would get a clue:

Q1 ridiculous profits announced, stock dips immediately, "Apple can't do that again"
Q2 ridiculous profits announced, stock dips immediately, "Apple can't do that again"
Q3 ridiculous profits announced, stock dips immediately, "Apple can't do that again"
Q4 ridiculous profits announced, stock dips immediately, "Apple can't do that again"

Seems like the thinking is that next time "Really, really, Apple is going to tank." As for me, I'll take advantage of the dip in stock price to buy a lot more shares and go long.

  • NSO Group CEO says law-abiding citizens have 'nothing to be afraid of'

Hulio would apparently be fine with this statement: "If you have a reason to object to the government placing one of their cameras in your bedroom then you must be some sort of criminal. The government has controls in place to ensure that the video being monitored is not abused and the cameras are only used during their investigations."

  • 14-inch & 16-inch MacBook Pro rumored to get 1080p webcam

The iPhone 4S released in 2011 could do 1080p video. Apple is 10 years behind its own products.

  • Brazilian iPhone thieves demonstrate importance of responsible password practices

I'm a bit lost here. I understand that having the SIM card gives the thief's phone the phone number of the stolen one, but is there any info stored on the SIM that would contain the social media information? But I could see a link between the phone number and a Facebook account for example -- if the thief can search by the phone number and find the Facebook account somehow that connects the two.

  • Western Digital offering data recovery, trade-in for hacked My Book Live devices

Nothing I'm reading here states that WD will be offering a no charge data recovery service nor will the trade-in be overwhelmingly favorable to the customer. Time will tell.
