  • Apple debuts new $5999 Mac Pro with up to 28-core Xeon processors

If you’re a Fortune 100 company... it’s going to be great!

  • Apple Music links shifting away from iTunes domain, further signaling death of app

This wouldn’t be concerning to people if Music wasn’t 10x worse than iTunes.
    Vox is a great alternative.
What are you talking about? Both music & iTunes are fine.
No they aren't. Music is awkward as all hell, and iTunes is in such rough shape Apple is putting it out of its misery.
For those who think it's fine... you've just grown accustomed to them. Try some others so you can at least be objective.

I expect they will have redesigned iTunes for desktop.
Doesn't matter much to me anymore as I've gone the streaming route and have my iTunes library integrated into Bluesound.
Tidal, Spotify, iTunes, Tunein, online radio... everything in one location.

The only reason to open iTunes these days is to load an old iPod with songs or backup photos off the phone.

The article is over-the-top but close - except for Apple TV, HomePod, MacPro, keyboards, mice, Apple Music, Siri, Safari... all areas where Apple greatly lags behind the Competition. It also fails to mention the wide ranging aspects of the industry that Apple failed at or isn’t doing like networking, servers, gaming, VR, etc... Mac OS, iPads, iPhones, watch, iMac... still the best in those areas.
You’re high. Apple TV is the best set-top in my book. HomePod is certainly the best high-quality shelf speaker in it’s price category. I have both the new Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard, and love them, the keyboard especially (it replaced a cheaper Logitech). Apple Music is better than Spotify because it integrates into my own library seamlessly. I have seen no evidence of Siri being any worse than any other voice system. And Safari is far and away the better browser.

Apple exiting the servers or networking niches doesn’t somehow imply doom nor ineptitude.

Apple has not been known as a gaming company, tho their gaming service sounds interesting.

VR? bahaha. Yeah man. Post some numbers of the sweet VR market Apple is missing out on.

What’s really funny tho, is people like you will try real hard to find other brands and products for each of these areas Apple serves and serves well, whereas Apple is one company doing them.
    lmao
Ok man... glad you're happy in your delusional little bubble.

I don't try hard to find other brands - I just like to be on top of the best experience. Apple does some things extremely well... others not so much.
What you fail to comprehend is subjectivity.
