Out of proportion, you have people with not idea what a firearm even is, trying to outlaw them because they are afraid.
You mean like a firearm is a tool created for the sole purpose of killing or harming other people in a convient easy to use manner?
Yeah, those vicious, destructive Olympic target pistols and rifles, biathlon rifles, benchrest rifles, ...

    Wait. They're not?

Judging from actual usage, only the tiniest fraction of a percent of civilian-owned firearms are used for anything other than making small holes close together on a piece of paper, or to ring a gong, or to pop a tin can, ...

You'd have a better argument trying to claim that cars, trucks and motorcycles were designed to kill people; more people are killed by accident by motor vehicles than are killed on purpose by civilian-owned firearms in the U.S.

If the symbol is meant to be an Olympic thing why is Google's the only graphic that looks like the weapons used in the Olympics?
It isn't, in fact it's probably the furthest from what's actually used. The closest to something used in the Olympics is the Emojipedia version, and it's not quite there either.

  • Inside iOS 10: Photos Memories will generate slideshow movies automatically

Are they gonna bring back drag-n-drop to iPhoto? I have to export them and then open them in PS, not long ago I used to just drag them from iPhoto onto the Photoshop icon and boom!
Since you've got Photos and Photoshop, get something like the "External Editors" Photos extension from the Mac App Store.

Once you have it set up, press "Edit" in Photos, select "External Editors", and it pops up a list of all the applications on your Mac that can edit images. If you add/delete applications on that Mac, the list reflects those changes; you don't have to reconfigure things to add or remove to/from the list.

Select Photoshop (or whatever) from the list, and you're off.

  • Apple preparing changes to MacBook lineup this month

Finally I've been looking at the HP Spectre, partly because I'm just so worn out with the MacOS merry go round of annual 'upgrades' to feed the developer gravy train, drivers failing, app updating... W7 pro set & forget it...
You came so very close to answering your own question. And whiffed it.

"W7 pro set & forget it" (and ignore the W8 and W10 upgrades that followed).

Pick your preferred OS X version and stick with it (and the apps you've got running on it) until something really compelling drives you to upgrade. Or maybe the shiny bits are just too distracting to ignore?

People still thinking Alphabet is a me too company...
    Funny
The article isn't talking about an Alphabet project, is it? Page is doing this on his own, perhaps because Alphabet wouldn't spring for it.
