Don't buy it then.
I do this sort of thing for my living and many of the options out there vary from not great to awful. For example QLab is $400 and it's what I own and use, but don't like it. This does quite a bit of what I use Qlab for on a day to day basis and it's 10% of the price. I'll buy it just to have around on my machine for simpler shows. It looks more fun to me.
