I take this market share estimates with skepticism as only Apple reports real numbers.
Whatever incantations, spells, chicken bones these analysts use to predict sales numbers they are rarely right when it comes to Apple. There was an Apple hating troll on Usenet back in the day who used to go to his neighborhood CompUSA store and count the Mac boxes on the shelves. With this “data” he used to regularly predict Apple’s demise.
LMAO!! I remember this story!! I’m not sure if I read it here(from you) or somewhere else.

Makes me laugh everytime I remember it. I have a friend who has similar logic and thinks of himself as a genius.

  • Walmart Pay uses bizarre metric to claim its dominance over Apple Pay is approaching

Last year I was at a Wal Mart and some lady used Wal Mart Pay. The cashier was surprised and said “that’s the first time I’ve seen anyone use that.”

Maybe they’ve had phenomenal growth in the past year but most likely they’re full of sh**. If ApplePay isn’t accepted at Wal Mart, how is this even a fair comparison?

  • Apple slams story of cash hidden in Jersey to reduce taxes, calls itself 'largest taxpayer...

This is a damage control statement. The article by the BBC is a damning revelation that leaves Apple in a bad moral light.

The questionnaire leak alone paints a picture which will make everyone in PR at Apple squirm.

This is going to be like quicksand in the sense that any move to defend itself will probably make things worse. Just like this statement has done. I can see it being torn apart line by line for deliberately trying to distract from the reality that the leaks have put onto the table.

Apple has been the largest tax payer in the world this isn’t news.

iPhone X sales are off the charts and more to come from other products. This is “damage control” from the iKnockoff paid media.

  • Apple's $119.6 million victory in iPhone utility patent battle with Samsung finally upheld...

So any company can make iPhone knockoffs with the possible penalty of 119 million after making a few billion?!

    Wow! The legal system...

McDonalds, Coca Cola, HP, KFC feel free to ripoff the world’s most successful product!

  • SquareTrade iPhone X drop-test video disagrees with iFixit's repairability assessment

The problem with cases is it obstructs the beauty and feel of iPhone.

Apple designs iPhone to look and feel amazing. I’ve notuced iPhone X feels better than any iPhone in the hand. It’s the perfect size and the whole iPhone feels like one solid piece of smooth glass.
