  • Hulu app crashing for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV users

    lkrupp said:
No it’s not. I have had no problems with Hulu on my Apple TV HD. I was watching a movie last night with no crashes, no hiccups. The only complaint I have with Hulu is their audio stream which is often only 2 channel stereo.

thats great that you haven’t experienced those problems but just because it works for you doesn’t mean it works for everyone. Get errors daily with Hulu on my AppleTV. Sometimes a video just stops, sometimes it cannot load a video and I have to force quit and yes, the weird double audio thing has been an interesting recent development. It will play audio from 2 videos at the same time and the only way to stop is to force quit the app. So, yes, it is buggy...just not for you apparently.

  • You can now pay for London Underground rides with Apple Pay Express Mode

Note that I don’t think NYC uses Express Transit. It’s just a regular credit card transaction so you have to authenticate.
Nope, it’s slowly becoming active in NYC with no authentication needed. The busses on Staten Island and select sections of the 4/5/6 line are already up and running. Parts of the the 1/2/3 line are going live this month and the full system will be using it by the end of next year. It works like a charm. First time MTA has done something right in a long time. It’s all detailed at Omni.info

  • The surprisingly long history of the Apple AirPods

"The business about recharging your headphones remains. Still, we're now all so trained to recharge everything every day that even as we sink when our AirPods play that dismal low-power sound, we accept it."

I don't know if it's intentional or not, but honestly, I never think of having to charge my AirPods. Since putting them in their storage case begins to charge them, the process is pretty frictionless. They've eliminated the mental hang up of having to charge them by integrating it into their storage. Granted, you have to charge the case every few days, but what can you do?

  • WiseWear Chapter 11 bankruptcy blamed on Apple's decision to deactivate Apple Watch diagno...

What a pathetic attempt to get press coverage by blaming Apple. Apple stated from the beginning that the port was not to be used for anything but their own diagnostics. You can't use it in a way that is not only not supported, but publicly stated that it's not to be used and then blame them for your company sucking.
