  • Complete 2018 MacBook Pro teardown shows off six-cell battery, bigger speakers

Everyone talks this and that about new 2018 MBP but if there is not enough complains, push back for Apple not offering Function Keys MBP than Apple will assume no one cares and Apple will kill it. One that happens than it's too late to make your voice heard. .

  • What is Apple's True Tone technology on the 2018 MacBook Pro, and why does it matter?

It doesn't matter. When Apple overlooked to upgrade non-touch bar MBP than upgrading screen or processor or whatever has no value. Touch bar was wrong decision in first place and because of pride, Apple wants to continue on that pah even knowing wrong. User would have been OK if along with touch bar MBP, non-touch-bar was also upgraded. Looks like Apple have lost it's way.

  • Apple refreshes MacBook Pro with six-core processors, 32GB of RAM

What a stupid thing Apple did. My heart almost stop when I read the function key Macbook Pro was not updated... Are you in sain ??? You were suppose to have completely remove the mistake made in past of implementing useless touch strip. Either give Macbook /Pro wihh touch screen or don't. No haf hazard touch gimmicks.

  • Former Apple employee charged with stealing autonomous car trade secrets

It is hard. Chinese have been stealing tech secret for long time. It is just rest of the world don't know how much and how!!! Chinese have planted tech stealers in Universities research labs, defense and other high tech corporations, hacking through government sponsored, just every which way you can steal and cripple country like America's future economy.
You just don't have be worry about Russians but lot more so of Chinese, way more.

  • Video: How to backup, erase, and factory reset your iPad

Ok, good info. What do I do about an iPad for which I no longer have the password? My dad died last year, and my mom would like to give it to someone, but is unable to find the password for it. The Apple Store has not been helpful in this regard. Any help is apppreciated.
If you can raise enough awareness and file class action law suits, I will join and pitch in money. Your iPad is bricked, dead, useless eventhough Apple has been paid for your iPad but indirectly still controls it. If you try to restore it thinking it will clean up for use UNLIKE any Windows laptop or Android devices, it will go into activation lock. Apple won't help unless you have purchase receipt for it. If you have been gifted or bought from someone and if they don't have receipt for it than your iPad is dead. Apple never gave clean ONE place reset to wipe completely IOS device. Though things have got better in recent IOS but couple of release back, after removal of Find My iPhone from iCloud and complete reset of IOS device, it still kept association to user's appleid. That association screwed up thousands of iPhones/iPads unusable.
Here is what should have done by Apple. When user who have access to IOS device can go into Settings->General->Rest->Erase All Contents and Settings and wipe clean the device like Brand new setup. Here IOS asks user's Security credentials starting passcode than fingerprint or faceid than appleid to help turn off Find my iPhone from iCloud and iTune and Appstore and backend appleid association, everywhre Apple keeps linkage. This way, after RESET, you have claen device which will nver go into activation lock or you have to call apple for help or produce purchase receipt.
