    Interestingly, Huawei Mate 60 Pro adopted iPhone dynamic iceland feature. Two features that got my attention. Satellite voice communications and 5G support. How in a world 5G chip was developed internally and use in Huawei phone when most of the 5G tech/patents were banned for Huawei's usage. Even mighty Apple have yet to design, manufacture and use it's own 5G chip in it's products. And year old iPhone 14 supports satellite emergency messaging, not voice

    I also understand Huawei is indirectly funded lot by Chinese government. Against that, Huawei does not have choice but give front and back door access to anyone using Huawei phone where PRC and Chinese Spy agencies can keep eye on people's communications. I am sure that is happening with every communication gears made by Chinese companies but Huawei is a innocent face to world for Chinse spy agencies.

    US being free society and support such principles; US can not win against China as today's or tomorrow's China unless something big change happens to PRC party for better for world.
    China has a long term strategy to dominate the world commerce which Western,Asian countries failed to understand. Unless rest of the world stops importing from China, Chinese made products and not sell energy and critical products to China; China will continue to get stronger and non-Chinese companies will be robbed in China from there products, market share and pushed out of China. Than, Chinese companies will make the same products at cheaper price and sell to domestic market and to the rest of the world and get richer everyday. That is how China will dominate the world and there is nothing US,Europe and non-China countries can do.

    Instead of bashing about Elon Musk, let's talk about the satellite based SOS or 2-way messaging. IMO, Apple should come up with 2-way satellite based messaging and charge user per usage based. So,if you are stuck outside of cell tower covered area and must need to communicate; use sat based messaging feature for short communication.
    People can also use it on remote places including islands when on vacation or business where traditional Cell coverage is not available. What about on boat/yatch in middle of ocean ?

  • Apple Pay keeps growing, but can't catch Visa or Paypal

    If I can pay from other platform like my Windows laptop using Apple Pay, I would use it in place of PayPal.
