  • iPhone 14 Plus review: Bigger is better

i chose the iphone 14 pro model and would not use it with a case because it makes the device too wide and uncomfortable to hold in my hand.

bigger is not necessarily better. there are many other people who are often ”punished” for being “small”, and this is sorely unfair.

we experience the same in the fashion industry where the “small” people under 5’6” seem to be “punished” for being “small”. it is nearly impossible to find our size that is in proportion to our bodies.

if Apple is indeed inclusive, then their designers should include designs for small people as well. currently, it seems that larger mobile devices are more popular amongst us “small” folks, but this is because we are not offered a compelling choice. we would appreciate an iphone mini pro.

  • RCS is still half-baked, and Apple has no reason to adopt it

we all have been conditioned to rely on visual responses through social medias like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok — we see something shared online and we unconsciously or habitually tap on Like, ❤️, or 👍🏽; and on the other side we become anxious that we do not see any Like, ❤️, or 👍🏽. we have allowed ourselves to be "controlled" by these things to the end where we feel ignored, neglected, rejected, unfriended, or canceled because no one has given us a Like, ❤️, or 👍🏽.

in the world of iMessage and SMS, we feel all of the above when we do not see the blue bubble. have we all become insecure? of course, we have, and i have fallen into that rabbit hole too. it is liberating to be able to walk away from those social media responses or reactions icons, and not even have a bit of concern if my Followers count dropped!

folks, let it go. this is so insignificant.

besides, Google has demonstrated that it could not reliably commit to something, instead, it would unexpectedly abandon it and grab something else to play with. Google's short attention span is not good for keeping people committed to a product or service.

  • iPhone 13 mini review: The most powerful small smartphone on the market

the more i use my iphone mini the more i love it. reading or editing do not feel cramp. it feels just right in my hand.

i hope apple will continue this mini format for those who have "small" hands and who find this form "perfect".

     edit: iphone mini (512 GB)

  • Titanium and ceramic Apple Watch variants spotted in watchOS 6 beta

I like the steel model because the glass is less likely to scratch than the glass on the aluminium model. Unfortunately the steel case can get scuffed, so extra care needs to be taken to avoid scuffing the steel case.

Aluminium case is less likely to get scuff, or at least the scuff is less noticeable. But scuffs and scratches on the aluminium model’s glass is noticeable.

I wish the glass on the aluminium model is as tough as the steel model, and the case of the steel model is as less prone to visible scuffs and scratches as the aluminium case. I also like the steel model’s subtle weightiness feel on my wrist. It feels assuring.

Anyway, I think it would be very nice to see Apple, in addition to the titanium and ceramic models, make the tougher glass part of the aluminium models.

  • Feds bust $900,000 iPhone repair & return scam in Oregon

Jiang's defense lawyer has so far declined to comment but Zhou's told Portland's KOIN that his client is innocent. "Mr Zhou was not aware of any alleged counterfeiting," he said, " and we believe Mr Zhou will be vindicated."
