  • Apple exec Eddy Cue nets $59M in vested company stock

"que" posts from regular concern trolls who think they know better than his boss that he sucks and should be fired, etc etc. if only poor, hapless Cook knew what our dear readers know!

This is something that Apple does that I don't understand. I would love to have the camera that comes in the 7+. I don't want the bigger phone. So I am given two choices of which neither one is what I want. Why not put the better camera in both? I suspect that they do what they do because it is good for Apple.
because they can't fit the larger camera in the 7

just look at the tear downs of the iPhone7. The thing is PACKED to the max. What did you want Apple to leave out? Put a smaller battery?

I understand that to do this would require the phone to be larger. But not a minimum of 5.5"
oh, so is that in your opinion as a hardware engineer specializing in mobile devices and apple devices in particular? because for some reason apple's head of engineering doesn't see it as you do.

and the notion of making the 4.7" larger isn't a good one. get the plus if you want larger.

don't quit your day job -- they do it because theres no frickin' room. maybe you heard about this headphone jack issue their VP of engineering was discussing.

it's quite awesome that they were able to get the OIS-equipped lens into the non-plus 7, which was formerly reserved for plus-only. and originally the 6+ had OIS on stills only and not video. now we get both on the 7 non-plus. thats progress.

yet, no matter how much new value add they give us, people like you will always be complaining and suggesting some nefarious intent. its laughable.

I don't get the point of Echo.
The purpose is to enhance the Amazon ecosystem and add value for its customers. It also has an up sell marketing component because you can order anything from Amazon and several other services with just your voice.
im an amazon customer and prime guy. yet...i see no value add by putting an amazon BT speaker in my living room. i already have an apple tv, a wireless receiver and various speakers i can beam music to and control via my phone, watch, or iPads. in no reality would i ask a speaker to read me the news. and i don't need or even want a speaker to buy crap from on amazon. so, like, what would Echo do for me?
