New Bluetooth 6 with Find My improvements could arrive on the iPhone 17
Apple does frequently adopt newer standards with its product releases, but even this can be a very long time after the announcement. For example, Bluetooth 5 was announced in June 2016, but it didn't use Bluetooth 5 in an iPhone until the 2017 iPhone X.
Why would this be considered a "very long time"? If the BT 5 standard was announced in June, and we all know that the iPhone models are announced in September, Those models are fully baked and in production by June. The inclusion of the new standard in the following model is not a very long time at all..

Apple won't let go of the idea of a touchscreen MacBook Pro
Just because they're looking to develop and patent technology that could wind up in other products, doesn't mean the would or should introduce a touchscreen laptop.Personally, I've had a work PC with a touchscreen for years and have never once felt the need to touch the screen. In fact, it is a nuisance when pointing to the screen and accidentally touching it. Never have seen anyone else use the functionality either. -
FineWoven won't be missed, but it should be remembered

iPhone 16 rumors vs iPhone 13 - a comparison for upgraders
dutchlord said:What “super cycle”?? The tentpole feature should be Apple Intelligence which will not be available in my region (EU). So Apple misses a 500 million people market with the iPhone16.
You can thank your EU overlords for that.
