  • New 14-inch & 16-inch MacBook Pro sport M3, and come in black

Wish the new iMac was offered in that black.

  • Epic 'Killers of the Flower Moon' flops at the box office

    I’m waiting to stream it.

Apple is saying “maybe February” for a streaming release.
    Huh? Why so long?
Oscar nominations are announced on Jan 23rd and final voiding happens Feb 22. So Feb is great timing if it is nominated.

That is exactly the reason. The Academy has been pushing back against films that are in the theaters for a week and then streamed.

  • No M3 13-inch MacBook Pro at 'Scary Fast' event, says Gurman

2.)  Another thought is—why would Apple schedule a reveal and compete for audience just when game 3 of the World Series starts?

Compete for audience? Because very few people care about the World Series except for the fans of the two teams remaining. And of those fans, even fewer will care about an Apple event. Even so, the Apple event will be an hour long. The Apple devotees would be giving up maybe three innings.

  • Apple TV renovation could kill iTunes Movies app in December

    Honkers said:
TV is a weird app.  It almost feels like it should be the default screen of tvOS instead of an app, since it's consolidating content, and is designed as the primary use case of the entire device.  I'd much prefer it if I could turn on my AppleTV and the first screen I see is Continue Watching, and Up Next, and all that stuff, with all other apps below.

It can be the default screen if you choose. It's in the settings.
I love the way the app works. All my shows are in Up Next. I can search across apps.
If Netflix participated, that would be great. Their loss, though, because I rarely go to Netflix unless I know exactly which show I want to watch.

Because Apple likes to charge highway robbery prices for cables.  They always have.

The chances that's in any way significantly different than any other Thunderbolt cable are ZERO.  It's a standard, anybody building a cable is going to use a similar design.
