Inbound M4 Mac updates rumored to arrive as early as October 28
AppleInsider said:Given that Apple generally likes to announce new hardware at about 9AM ET, we're guessing October 29. Furthermore, Apple has a history of preferring to hold events and product launches on a Tuesday, making that the most likely day for hardware introductions.
It is still unclear whether Apple will hold an actual event for the Mac launches, or will proceed with a press release-based introduction.
Not true at all. Press release-only announcements might drop at 9:00, at market open on the east coast, but Apple events always start at 1:00pm eastern time.

Apple Pay dominated the world in just ten years -- but it has more work to do
As someone who also uses a PC regularly, I would love the ability to use Apple Pay through a browser on the PC. Since I can buy things from Apple's site on my PC and get the same benefits as using my Apple Card as I would through Apple Pay, I would imagine it is technically possible. Many times I have added items to my cart on the PC then gone to my phone so I could complete the transaction using Apple Pay. If I see Amazon Wallet or PayPal on the site, I know they will accept Apple Pay through the phone.

Why Apple's smart home speaker dreams are still falling short
I guess I am asking Siri the wrong questions on my HomePods because I rarely have an issue with not getting a proper response. We ask questions about celebrities all the time, usually after we hear they died. How old are/were they, who was their first spouse etc. I ask for weather, sometimes in other cities, when we're watching a ball game and curious about the temps under which they're playing. Siri also interacts perfectly with all my smart home devices. Not sure what I should be asking to throw it off.
