  • Samsung makes good on promise to bring Gear S2, S3, Fit 2 smartwatch compatibility to iOS

You left out the biggest feature of the Gear S3. (Hint: One buys them at AT&T or TMo.) Also, it runs Tizen and doesn't have anything to do with Google.

  • Sylvania announces Bluetooth-connected Apple HomeKit lightbulbs that don't require a hub

Although this is a good Start, this isn't The Way.

What we need are lamps/fixtures/bulbs that conform to a low voltage DC bulb-standard and DC powerline-standard (like USB-C) that will eliminate RFI, heat/HVAC and current loss from the AC/DC conversion/inversion and BLE emissions.

The problem, of course, is that one has to "go custom" to do this now (https://hackaday.io/lists is a good start) until some multi-billion dollar dominant player under pressure to enter new markets and keep making its numbers (while hitching its fortunes to a controversial new DC-power standard and home automation platform) decides to extend their specifications all the way to a (potentially outdoor) battery that sits on the side of a home/business (and ties into a grid transformer or renewable energy source).

  • Apple confirmed limiting iPhone 7 Qualcomm modem to keep performance on par with Intel chip

Has it been revealed to the trading public if Verizon requested (or even is causing) this, due to the sheer volume of iPhone users (relative to other types of handsets) and Verizon's delicate mix of backhaul and towers spread across LTE, legacy CDMA and "pre"-5G amidst their growing popularity? Isn't it true that iPhone is still performing much better on Verizon's network vs. their competitors (as opposed to merely running the same as their competitors). How can anyone be certain this is an Apple or iPhone issue?

  • Comparing Apple's Late-2016 13" & 15" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar

This is a comparison between a 15" and 13" model of the same computer that does not mention available screen resolution? Perhaps try to avoid use of the words "powerful", "beautiful" and "plenty" outside of a marketing (advertisement) context. It would also help to compare the weights, dimensions, noise and heat dissipation to more common objects. Then there are issues concerning relative battery runtime/charger size/dock power, MSI-stream-stitching, contrast/reflectivity under different light conditions, etc.
