  • Survey says 76% of retail IT decision makers prefer Apple hardware in stores

Well I prefer to drive a Bentley. But my budget doesn't allow that.

Yawn....  Why is it you Trumpers claim that those who denounce Trump's Lies, Racist, Xenophobic, Homophobic, Misogynistic, Dictatorial, Traitorous behavior do it simply because we "hate him".   Is it because you cannot bear to face that which you defend?

And, if China were stealing American IP as you claim, then why did it only become a "National Security Emergency" under the Liar in Chief?  Why didn't those companies act before this?  And, why are they protesting his actions now?   It all adds up to what the Liar in Chief -- or perhaps we should call him the Conman in Chief does best:  Lie

So why would he attack China?  First every would-be dictator needs an enemy to distract from his own actions.   For Trump that's China, Iran and Obama as well as Blacks, Latinos and Muslims.   Second, he fears China because he knows that they will soon replace the U.S. as the world's largest economy -- and that which he fears he attacks.  It's just what he does.

I am sorry that you got conned -- or should I say "Trumped"...   That was foolish.   But stop parroting his ridiculous claims and lies.  Only you Trumpers believe that nonsense.  Nobody else.
That's a lot of delusional crap you're spewing right there. It's obvious that you hate Trump but he is your president whether you like it or not. And yes, China IS stealing our IP and they need to be dealt with. At least Trump is the first president willing to stand up to them unlike those before him.

LOL.... You apparently either didn't read what I wrote or it right over your head.   I said:   "He doesn't know a single kid, not one, who isn't using an iPhone or equivalent".
That doesn't make him elitist.  It makes him normal.

He does not know a single kid (not one!) who doesn't have and use Apple products:   iPhones, iPads, iPods, Apple Watches, etc....   while many of their parents do use other (Samsung) products.   But the kids wouldn't be caught dead carrying a Samsung phone.

Part of that is the prestige factor of Apple.   But most of it is the social networking that Apple enables with FaceTime and iMessage which the kids rely heavily on to communicate with each other.  Without an iPhone, iPad or iPod they are outcasts from their social network."

    Your words, not mine.

The problem is, parents are teaching kids to be followers and not leaders. To treat others as outcasts because they are different or because they don't conform to standards you define is really dumb and has become a big problem in this country. These kids will grow up to be intolerant lemmings who's lives are defined by the idiot slabs they use to communicate with other idiots. Not something I would be proud of.
Sorry, but these days, neighborhoods where kids went over and asked if "Johnny can come out and play" are long gone.

So, kids today use technology to communicate with each other.   It has nothing to do with what parents teach or don't teach.   The kid without access to the necessary technology is out of the loop and left behind.

Life is cruel.  Deal with t.
You're right...life is cruel. But if you're OK with your kid being a little elitist a-hole, then you're part of the problem.

Don't pretend you read the post either... OP helped the house keeper thinks Android is a mess and hard to navigate and would NEVER use it. I feel the same when my father asks me to do something on his Android phone as well.  Can I get done what he asks ..yes.. Do I find it a bit slow and convoluted getting to simple things..that are quickly accessed on IOS yes I do.

Personally if I ever had to make the jump to Android it would only be Pixel for me, or whatever phone is running stock Android with proper updates.
Really??? I read the post. My response was that it works both ways. People that aren't that familiar with a device or rarely use it, may think it's convoluted. Pretty simple concept. I'm sure even you can understand that.
