  • Apple renews workplace comedy 'Loot' for a second season

The show fits the profile of “workplace comedy” but the writing is sharper and the acting better than I expected. Every episode thus far has been well-plotted and -written.

Glad there will be a Season 2.
After watching the trailer I wasn't sure if this show would interest me that much. It seemed like a standard "workplace comedy" with the billionaire story thrown in to differentiate it.
But as you've stated the writing and acting are so good. And there is much more depth to the story than I was expecting. There are some very well written characters and I'm enjoying this show much more than I expected.

I’ve been blown away by how quickly Apple TV+ original content has been added and how fast the library has grown.
I totally agree. Especially with the quality of that content. While some services like Netflix have pumped out a lot of low quality originals (mixed in with the odd decent show) to increase their library, Apple has been able to increase their catalogue substantially while still producing very high quality shows.

  • Six features that users won't see in iOS 16.0 this fall

When is this fall thing again? Why not just use the months to save the Southern Hemisphere from not knowing what you are talking about?
Stating a season comes across as a more general time frame. Stating months would require Apple to be more specific which they are not wanting to do. Saying something is going to be released sometime from September to November just doesn't work as well. It's just a minor inconvenience I guess from having a global audience.

Apple's country specific websites will usually use the correct terminology for the region you are in though if you are having trouble working it out. So for the Fall example above it will say comming in Spring and Apple's Australian or New Zealand websites for example.

It's really not that hard to work out though. If they say summer it means winter for the southern hemisphere and vice-versa. If they say fall(Autumn) it means spring for us and vice-versa.

  • The five best features for Apple users that were announced at WWDC 2022

I would also like to know what this refers to as I don't think anything was said about Apple TV during the keynote:

    Apple TV.

Cross-device connectivity in tvOS 16 unlocks new, connected experiences between Apple TV, Apple Watch, and iPhone. Connect your nearby devices and make TV feel more personal than ever.

What changes to Shortcuts are included?  This is an area of keen interest to me.
The only thing I have seen in relation to shortcuts is the new API's that will allow app developers to incorporate shortcuts into their apps that work out of the gate. So users will no longer need to enable or customise them to enable Siri functions.

I haven't seen anything yet about the shortcuts apps and any possible improvements/enhancements to that. I have a fairly long list of functionalities I would like to see added to shortcuts. So hopefully there are at least a few enhancements.
