There is the Government sticking its nose where it doesn't belong yet again.  No one if forced to use Apple Pay.  There is Android Pay and Samsung Pay and Garmon Pay and on and on.  Let alone QR Codes and other methods.  I use PayPal a lot of the time.  

Apple only has a small percentage of the market in the EU anyway.  It's mostly Android.  Talking about a lock in the marketplace by Google!!!!  Google can spy on people world wide.

Android has double the market share of iOS. in the EU.  If you don't like what Apple does, you are free to buy any other phone.YOu can buy a Google phone, a Samsung phone or a dozen other Android phones.  Why doesn't any company in the EU develop its own OS and phone to sell in the market?  Because the EU and their laws make developing anything there to costly for most all companies there.  Just like with Game Consoles.  Where are they?  Not a one developed in the EU.  Then they go crying about it.  

Rumors are just that, so it's a wait-and-see.   I have my Apple Watch 4 which still works quite well.  I think this is the year for an iPhone upgrade as my iPhone Xs will be 5 years old at that point.  I'm in the 5th year of using it.  I think it's time.  

While I think this  Compact Cassette enclosure is interesting.  I grew up with these things to play my music on.  The younger generation may not even know what a  Compact Cassette is, let alone what it looks like.   So many things I grew up with, just aren't a thing to the younger generation.  

I wish I had an excuse to buy one of these things myself, but no, I have no need for it.  I have too much garbage I need to get rid of.  

Google of Facebook posting snips of news from other sources, is not posting news.  They shouldn't be charged for this.  The fact they do this brings people directly to the source of the news if they want to get the full story.  

The simple fact is, any of these NEWS sites can easily throw up a ROBOT.TXT file onto their site and Google and other places will not grab anything from their site.  Why don't they do this?  Because Google and Facebook and others drive traffic to their website!!!  It's been shown from other countries doing this same type of thing, The news form them gets dropped and their traffic takes a huge hit.  So these companies want it both ways.  They love the traffic Google brings them, but they also want Google and others to also pay them for doing that.  When they could at any time, 100% stop Google and Facebook, and others from getting a single clip of news from them.  If Canada wants to follow through and do this dumb thing, great.  Google and Facebook can stop any and all news from Canada.  They won't see a penny from then and their news sites will take a huge hit.  No more links going to them so people can read the whole story.   Oh well,....

I haven't used TikTok ever and have no plans to ever use it.   I don't think it should be banned anywhere than from Government use.    Then again I don't think government phones just have much of anything on it, then what is required.  You have your Government phone for work, you have your own personal phone for outside of work.
