  • ISPs cite First Amendment as reason why they can sell customer data

They may have free speech and a first amendment right over their own Data. But there are also privacy laws for all the people they are trying to sell that data on. We the people, if we want to protect our own privacy, we should be able to also. I have the right to keep my Data personal and not be sold to the highest bidder. Just because someone else has access to my Data, doesn't give them the right to just sell my Data. They are free to sell their own Data if they want, so long as it has nothing to do with ME, or any other customer that doesn't want their data sold. We are already getting screwed by these company's in high fee's and caps.

    Typical EU; regulations, regulations, regulations...
    Thank goodness the U.K. escaped!
The UK also seems like more and more of a police state. They have so many security cameras watching every little thing you do. I thought I'd throw in 1 negative, but that really has nothing to do with being in or out of the EU.

When you can't create EVEN ONE Apple, one Google, one Microsoft, one Amazon, etc., what do you do? You "...debate and implement regulations that will have lasting effects on ... technology."

    Such a pathetic bunch.
Sounds like they said a whole lot of nothing to me. Their strategy I think is to continue suing American company's HUGE amounts of money to bring lots of money into the EU. They can't seem to do anything else on their own than make things harder and harder to do business in the EU. Thanks to them, they've pretty much locked in these huge American company's who have the money to follow their laws making it streaming hard for any new startup there. Keep up the good work EU. Sue and kill Innovation, both the EU is great at.

  • Galaxy Z Flip is Samsung's second try at foldable smartphones

I just don't get it, WHY? It looks like a normal size phone, but then it folds in half. So it's half the size and double the thickness. This is what you'll then be sticking in your pocket? So a phone that phones in half, which now costs a bunch more money and now has a crappy plastic screen? It's like taking a iPhone and just making it fold in half. Why would you do that? What benefit is there? You end up with a plastic screen with a bump in the middle.

  • Samsung unveils its Galaxy Z Flip phone during the Oscars

I really don't get the point. It's not a huge phone. Folding in have benefits you how? Really now you have a thicker phone when closed. It's now basically a square shape. It have a center crease in the screen that is made from plastic. Plastic which just doesn't have the same feel as glass and can scratch much easier.

Still the biggest point is what benefit do you get out of this thing folding in half? What am I missing?
