  • AirTag anti-stalking class-action lawsuit given the green light

Like anything, it can be abused.  But Apple has already done more than enough to almost make airtags worthless.  Because it is warning criminals and anyone else taking your stuff you are trying to track.

This was never an issue with TILE.  No one complained with all the tracking they did and zero protections at all for YEARS.  Since it's Apple, lawsuit time once again.  Airtags aren't even all that good with tracking.  GPS trackers on the other hand, great for tracking anyone you want.  Been around a long time now.  Where are the lawsuits?

This lawsuit should be thrown out.  If someone is using an Airtag to stalk you, that is on the stalker.

  • Apple in talks to license Google Gemini AI for iPhones

Google on my iPhone? That’s never ever going to happen. Even if that means saying goodbye to Apple after 36 years. No way.
Then were are you going to go?  A dumb phone?  Keep Google's garbage off your phone and don't use that racist Gemini Woke garbage!!!

But again, this is all just a rumor.  It's a rumor until Apple says it is coming or shows up.  The news is wrong and lies all the time.  Take it for what it is, mostly garbage!!

  • Apple says the iPhone 15 battery is more durable than it originally thought

My iPhone Xs, which I am now into my 6th year with is showing 80% battery Maximum Capacity.  It seems less than that at times!!!  Is anyone lower than 80% or does it just stop at 80%?

Used to upgrade my phones, yet even dumb phones every 4 years.  Soit's been iPhone 4, iPhone 6, and now iPhone Xs.  4 years for those first 2 iPhones.  I was going to upgrade to the iPhone 15, but this phone still works just fine and I didn't see any reason yet to upgrade.  However, the battery life isn't the best these days and I have no 5G service or T-Mobiles newer band and whatever else on this phone.  I decided to just go for a 6th year.

The iPhone 4, with Apple's first custom CPU, the A4 CPU, that 4th year was pretty bad.  The major firmware updates every year made it slower and slower.  That 4th year, sometimes I wanted to throw the phone against the wall and break it.  It was SSSLLLLLOOOWWWWW!!!  The iPhone 6 was better by the 4th year.  As Apple really improved their CPU's over the years, so now it's overkill when the phone comes out, it has far, far more staying power.  Which is why I'm into my 6th year with this iPhone Xs.  It still looks perfect.  I've also never had a cracked screen.

  • Apple Vision Pro natively supports a rare film aspect ratio

You know what Movie I am seeing left off everyone's list that was the first movie that came to me?

Tom Cruise "Far & Away" Western!!!

    Far and Away
was released on May 22, 1992 in 1,583 theaters, 163 of which were in 70mm.

It was the first film shot in Panavision Super 70 and the first film to be shot in 70mm in a decade since Tron (1982).  The Arriflex 765 camera was also used, as the camera was capable of 100 frames per second which was used for slow-motion shots during the Oklahoma land rush scene.

That is another one, TRON that no one mentioned above!!!  I'm sure there are others not listed also.

Look, there is a list and more movies,...  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_70_mm_films

For whatever reason, I just remember Far and Away being 70mm.  It's funny how you just remember random things like this from far in the past.  Why you may have forgotten what you did the day before.

  • After years of research, an Apple smart ring may be imminent

I say this will stay a RUMOR.  What is the point of the ring?  You have the Apple Watch which I think is a far better, more useful device than a ring.
