  • X gets big exception from Apple with one-letter App Store listing

You left out Alphabet (Google).  That is about as dumb as naming can get.  Meta is pretty bad also.  X is early 2000's.  X-box for example. X-Men. X this and that.  Apple doesn't use "i" in front of names anymore.  I think if Apple had to over again, it would just be Apple Phone and Aple Tablet and so on.

Paid a lot of money for the Twitter BRAND just to throw all that away and rename it X.  It would have been far cheaper to create a new company and just call it X.   Maybe this works out.    Before Elon, Twitter was losing a million dollars per DAY!!!  How long could they keep that up?  Wait it out and buy Twitter for cheaper.  It's a gamble in a few different ways.  I think he is looking long-term.   I didn't think what Apple spent on BEATS was worth it.  It's been paying off for them.  Even that was a fraction of the price Elon paid for Twitter.  There is no hardware division to go along with it like with Beats Headphones.

  • Google proposes a new tracking superpower in Chrome

I really just need to stop using Chrome!!!  They are turning into what Microsoft was doing with IE back in the day.  Being EVIL!!!!!  I may go and start using Edge on my Windows computers.  Maybe Firefox.  Not sure yet.  I really need to get away from Google.  They are getting more and more evil.

  • Paramount+ with Showtime $11.99 price bump starts to hit viewers

That is funny how it says Apple is raising the price of the subscription from $9.99 to $11.99.  HAHAHA

Apple is doing no such thing.  Paramount+ is raising its own rates.

  • Strikes halting production on 'Silo' and 'Foundation'

Well, like the last big strike.  Many of the shows will end up just being GONE.  Because people have moved on.  So the odds of Silo and Foundation coming back for another season are 50/50 right now.  The longer this strike drags on the greater the odds of them not coming back.  Some of the shows it killed last time for a number of reasons is "Heroes",  "Scrubs", "Lost", "Pushing Daisies", along with others, plus many movies.

It didn't kill them outright, but the long gap lost viewers, the writing was rushed, etc, etc and it just screwed up so many shows.  I think this is also when more Reality TV shows come out.  You don't need a bunch of paid writers and they're cheap to make.  This could drag on for a year or longer.  Just when theaters are opening up and people are starting to come back, well they're screwed once again.  Maybe they can bring back a lot of old movie classics to show.  Probably better entertainment anyway.   The new TV season is to start up in a couple of months, well that'll be put on hold.   You may want to think about canceling your streaming service if there is no new content to play unless you only care about old stuff.  New seasons of whatever shows you are watching. those are dead or on hold.  If they come back, it may not be very good and end up being killed.  Oh well,.......

  • Apple slammed with $1 billion class action lawsuit in UK over 30% App Store fee

If these companies don't like the 30% fee, do what Netfllix, Amazon, HBO, and many others do.  Have people pay you directly to use their services instead of going through Apple.   Then there is ZERO FEES!!!!

Maybe Apple should just start charging app developers per download.  Every time someone has to download a new Netflix update, there is a COST to that.  Instead of Apple eating that cost over and over again like they do now and get nothing because people sign up for service directly at Netflix.
