This fraction is one of several critical aspects that is handled problematic in the report!

—the 18% of  Watch users who do not wear their watch during the day, doesn’t classify their watch as a smartwatch, but most likely only use it while exercising. These 18% of users should therefore have been excluded from the study of satisfaction among smartwatch-users.

Apple users race to replace their iPhones more quickly than an iPad or Mac

That is one idiotic misleading headline!

And which  users are we talking about?:

• Anything directly related to employment, is most likely excluded from the survey!
• What fraction of the respondents have access to equivalent devices? (A phone for a phone, etc.) Especially among those who accepted “within a week” and longer downtime.
• What fraction of the respondents have more than one of the three types of devices? (If my iPad dies, I can compensate with my iPhone, etc.)

And which of these two are the “best”?

• A nail hammer
• Or an excellent reproduction of a Van Gogh

That’s right—this choice (i.e. comparison) is just as senseless as the survey!

Instead: Compare iOS with Android users (and remember to include estimates on frequency and time to failure)

And ask a statistician to help you.

Excellent question/point:  Hi-Res—available at no additional cost—could have/should have been the headline for choosing  Music, but no one knows how to take advantage of this superior sound quality!
 itself is only able to state that the signal chain must be compatible, but gives no example of equipment that has been tested and verified.

About the Mac mini M1, my own attempt to use the HDMI port and connect it to my HIFI receiver in order to make use of  Hi-Res music ended in tears as the HDMI port is limited to 48 kHz, regardless of the number of channels 😱
—the receiver supports up to 192 kHz in 7 channels.

If the new  TV does not support  Hi-Res music,  has once again committed sacrilege!

I have asked the company to modify the cutout to accommodate Thunderbolt cables as only tiny usb-c cables are small enough (although I haven’t tried the  Thunderbolt 3 cable).
The legs are fine when in horizontal, but I don’t trust the locking mechanism in portrait mode.
