Still hoping they will now enable setup - 2 HomePods as soundbar + subwoofer + dolby atmos + 2 HomePod minis as rear surround speakers. That would make it for me 😎

Of course AMD tries to compare with Apple. They take Apple as their goal to achieve/beat. I don’t really mind that, competition drives innovation and progress. Even though I know I will not leave Apple ecosystem, I am looking forward to see the real life tests and usage to see, how well AMD did.

The vast majority of people have never been and will never go outside of cell service areas. The SOS feature is of no value to them. The more troubling side effect of this is people going to remote locations places ill prepared and/or inadequately assessing the risk of what they are doing knowing help is only an SOS away.

Well, even not very far from Prague (capital of CZ) you can find a place in forrests where there is no cellular, as it is former military space, nothing around… there it would get usefull after it is widespread…

Well, using the railroad metaphore wasn’t very clever. Because what happened in europe - tracks and railway stations are separated from the train operators now in many european countries. Do you want to sell tickets in the railways station for your trains? Feel free to do so, but pay the rent for the place. Do you want to use the rails for your trains? You can do so, but you have to pay the fees for using this infrastructure… and the owner is still in control over what can and cannot happen…

I wonder about this ocean plastics. How much is really there. Because it degrades there. And what i have heard/read, one cannot make a product that is 100% ocean plastic… usually it is 10% maximum, or even less… but it reads well in PR materials of course…
