Apple isn't done with concessions in iOS to placate the European Union
jimh2 said:How could the EU possibly be looking out for its residents if there is a way to allow developers to ask for and get more personal data from users. Only someone not understanding the consequences would grant this position and it is one that should not even be possible to do. -
Your brain may have a hard time adjusting to wearing and taking off Apple Vision Pro
I wonder how much of a real experience they have with Apple Vision Pro and what is only that ‘research and demonstration’… it seems they only included it to make the paper bit more interesting to read/get any attention by mediea… i am not saying they are wrong at all. But even if someone from them was on Apple’s PR list, the real experience with AVP wouldn’t be longer than 2 weeks i guess
Reminds me how there was no mass coverage about tracker based stalking before AirTags were released, even if it was a thing for years… -
Apple asks UK to dismiss $1 billion App Store class action suit

I want all my cards in one wallet, like i have in a physical world, from where i choose which card i use. As i am not carrying three separate wallets for each card… -
Apple could avoid US Apple Watch ban with software update
Honestly, if Apple disabled the blood oxygen sensor via software update, how many users would really notice? Apart from playing with it after i got my watch, i never use it… yes, it may limit some features, where it is used on backgroung. but is it really the crucial reason people buy it? The watch will not stop working completely. And if they find a way how to settle it - be it paying the license fees or prove they don’t infringe anything - they will simply put it back…
