Why hasn't anybody else complained about Amber alerts damaging their eardrums? Sounds like this kid liked to listen to music with his Airpods cranked all the way up. That's not Apple's fault.

Yeah, in a few months, only a few oligarchs will be able to afford Apple products in Russia anyway. There was a picture a few weeks ago of anti-theft tags attached to pull tabs on canned meat.

I don't trust Google Maps to be accurate. I've tried to correct a problem on their NYC maps a couple of times, where they confused a regular street with a pedestrians-only section on the other side of the block. They don't care. Also no way to correct a business listing for a glass company with the same name as a department store chain, so their business description says they sell all sorts of goods like men's and women's apparel.

Getting old. None of the streaming stuff appeals to me and the last time I watched anything on prime time network TV was the 2015-16 season.

What’s wrong with ‘fortnight’ - a term that has been about for a long time and with a clear meaning.

Biweekly can mean either. In general to avoid confusion, it's used for once every two weeks and semiweekly is used for twice a week.
