The more fit you are the lower your heart rate. I don't remember the numbers but I believe extremely fit people could go under 60.

Since Apple likes the cylindrical look for the Mac Pro, why not modify it with modular wedges that plug together, like an old school Cray?

Not really. The thinner glass gets, the more flexible it becomes. Get a tempered glass screen protector for an iPhone and you'll find that you need to almost fold the paper-thin glass before it will break.I think his point is that most everybody finds the built-in trackpad on a Macbook to be sufficient. Still have my copy of BYTE magazine on the shelf that has the Mac on the cover. That was a chaotic yet exciting time in personal computing, so unlike today when computers and even smartphones have become everyday commodities.
