  • Geometric Goods AirTag travel wallet: More stylish than secure

RFID blocking in wallets is a scam, stop acting like it's necessary. Skimming is not a realistic threat in the wild, and modern RFID chips now send a one-time code for each transaction.
Agreed. For all the fearmongering over the years by wallet makers, there has never been any significant number of RFID thefts. As security researchers note, it's a lot less risky to just buy personal information on the dark web for only pennies per individual.

  • Ride1Up Revv 1 review: An awesome moped-style e-bike

Stop calling these e-bikes. They're e-mopeds. Just like their gas-powered predecessors, you wouldn't want to pedal them for any distance more than a mile, thanks to their single-speed gearing, seat with a wide front that interferes with pedaling, heavy weight, and low and fixed seat height that's suboptimal for most people. The crankarms were added just to get around federal regulations that require them to be on anything that wants to be legally called an e-bike to avoid licensing, registration and insurance. Doesn't mean the crankarms are actually useful, though.

  • AirTag tracks car thieves, but vehicle wrecked during police chase

Never should have been a high-speed chase. First, everybody knows they're dangerous, which is why they're against department policy in many cities. And second, it's being tracked. That's the whole point of the story. They could have kept a discreet distance until it parked. The Airtag battery would have lasted and they couldn't have lost track of the car. Better yet, you never know what kind of goodies those thieves might have led them to if you had just followed them. Maybe a chop shop. There was no need to catch them immediately.

  • iPhone 15 Pro Max will get periscope folding zoom camera, rumor claims

I think you mean folded optics, not folding optics. They're not talking about some old-timey view camera.

  • Kensington SlimBlade Pro Trackball Review: Fully loaded, but not for beginners

I used to far prefer trackballs back when they were the only alternative to mice. But I didn't like how often they had to be cleaned. Those supported by rollers gunked up quickly and those supported on ball bearings were no better. I'll stick with the Magic Trackpad 2, bolstered by BetterTouchTool, which gives me an incredible number of app-specific and global options at my fingertips.
