Meta's 11,000 job cuts may be only the beginning
rob53 said:Now if we can just get rid of all the wasteful paper ads sent through the USPS, our real mail might be delivered on time and millions of trees could be saved. Do any of you actually read these ads, usually from grocery stores for me, or do you immediately dump them in your recycling bin? Electronic and internet ads are the same thing.
Junk mail is a huge source of revenue for USPS. Think about it. Those envelopes and cards are small and companies send untold millions of them. If they killed it off, you'd have to pay a lot more for postage and especially shipping packages, which take up a lot more space and weight for not a lot more postage.

Logitech's 'Designed for Mac' collection includes a mechanical keyboard
takeo said:I’m curious to try a mechanical keyboard but mostly I wonder if the key labels last longer. The letters of the Magic Keyboards completely disappear for me on frequently used keys. It’s annoying. I’ve replaced some key caps a few times and within less than a year the letter is completely gone again. -

10,000 nits? Surely a typo? That would be extraordinary too bright even in direct sunlight. Most LED displays you see during daylight is at 1000 nits to 1500 nits. Monitors usually show ~400 nits in well lit room.
