    do you guys actually own an Apple Watch? Most of this is not new. You always swiped up the screen to access these functions and the only new feature is the ability to lock your iPhone. All the other features were already there and accessed in exactly the same way - this is hardly new

  • Apple opens Siri up to developers with third-party SDK

    Siri does already work on CarPlay - it's just restricted to Apple Apps. If you hold the on-screen Home "button" you can issue normal Siri instructions such as "Send a message to ...".  What was announced today was that Siri would be able to control third party CarPlay approved apps - the one that popped up on the presentation was Skype (presumably for making VoIP calls). Presumably (?) this will allow messages to be sent and received on WhatsApp using voice controls in the same way as is currently supported for Messages

    "has revealed that the Holy See met with Apple Chief" - the Holy See is a place (i.e. the Vatican City State) not a person - it can't "meet" with anyone!
