Law firm that extracted $450M settlement in Apple e-books case is going after company for ...
I believe what apple did is entirely right however what was really dumb was not telling us about it. If i had known they my old iphone6+ needed a new batterry i would have replaced it. What was really annoying was not knowing my phone was being slowed down. I experienced severe slow downs and it really affected my ability to use the ohone at times. Apple only has itself to blame for this one -
Watch: Five ways iPhone X could be better
i agree with a few
1) i don't understand why two actions are need to activate the phone: can't just having face id registeriing my face be enough , why do i have to swipe up?
2) activating contol center ; yes its not intuitive from the top right, surely an easierway can be found?
3) multi -tasking activation also badly implemented
4) in the car, why can't i touch screen and i use my voice to enter the 8 digit pin, or a pass phrase - like
'fuck samsung" of course i'd never use that when someone is present.
my gripe-> 5) I really believe more voice commands need be to be added to interface to complement gestures. cmon AAPL this isn't rocket science! -

Text of FCC 'Proposal to Restore Internet Freedom' released, eradicates net neutrality rul...
georgie01 said:Net neutrality is an Obama era invention. How did we ever get along all these years without it? Before net neutrality was AI ever blocked by some Windows person at a carrier? It didn’t happen before the government’s power grab and it won’t happen after either even though it is ‘theoretically’ possible. Labeling Internet service as a utility no different than natural gas or electricity so the government could control it was a mistake and I’m happy it’s going away.
The only restrictions I remember from the days before net neutrality was that websites told me to go away because I was a Mac user and wasn’t running IE as by browser. The government didn’t fix that, competition and innovation did.
The internet is bigger than a commercial venture. While much of it is entertainment, that’s not its philosophy and shouldn’t be. It’s the easy and free distribution of information and communication. It’s more like utility services than it is like a television network.
