iPhone 11 Pro may have extra 2GB of RAM devoted to the camera
Large amounts of RAM are needed for slomo functionalities. The (Android) 48MP+ Camera sensors embed 512MB (maybe more in more recent designs) of RAM into the sensor to achieve this, as the data link to the SoC is not fast enough. However the iPhone may not have this limitation, so it can use system RAM for this functionality, as well as standard camera functionality. The Camera app could also be kept in this RAM permanently, for even faster instant-on. Also the AI cores used so often in photography will have access to this RAM for their functionalities, making system RAM desirable for this use. -

Flexible glass displays could replace MacBook Pro keyboards
Doing this in a way that doesn't feel terrible will be very difficult. The lack of movement may feel quite odd (I can't see the glass keys deforming a lot). At least the raised key areas will provide some 'layout awareness' to the user. And good use of haptic feedback may provide some useful level of interaction upon a press, although whether it's as nice as a real keyboard is another issue entirely. -
Users spending hours on their smartphone, but they're using them like a PC, not a phone
Isn't this just verifying what we already know? Phones have replaced mobile gaming devices for many people, they have replaced texting and desktop chat for even more people, and the only enhancement to phone calls in a decade has probably been volte. All the work on smartphones for a dozen years has been on making them more functional in other ways than as a phone, so this really isn't a surprise. Maybe we should stop calling them phones. -
Hands on: Much-awaited OmniFocus 3 for Mac brings tags to To Do tasks
The problem with apps like this is that you spend all your time perfecting your todo list, instead of doing anything on it - I used to have some lovely perfect documents in OmniOutliner in the past... Also, it's way too expensive for what boils down to a todo list. Otoh, nobody else seems to be bothered to create something similar for less.
