After a cup of soda got spilled on my arm and consequently on my Apple Watch, the crown wouldn't turn or press. Before taking it in for repairs, I took a chance and did exactly what it said above: I stuck it under a running water faucet. The crown now works fine. Whenever it gets a little stuck, I do it again.

The local Chevron gas stations now have NFC readers, but they don't say anything about ApplePay. On a whim, I pulled out my iPhone, tried ApplePay, and it worked! Touch ID is much faster and easier than the credit card and zip code routine. Also, a number of gas stations have been compromised by crooks who put skimmers on the card readers. Now I don't have to worry about that.

I am glad that the local Chevron now uses Apple Pay. Gas stations were notorious for being hacked by skimmers.
