Apple might launch wireless earbuds with power saving Bluetooth chip in September
foljs said:Habi_tweet said:What a bunch of morons if they use that design. IT SUCKS LIKE NOTHING ELSE. I mean people have different ear sizes. But apple thinks one size fits all.
The old ones where even better, atleast you cuold upgrade them with standard old meshing to snug the fit so they dont constantly drop out of the ear. So annoying.... I wouldn't pay a dime for those. NOT even if i buy the phone because i still pay for them in the phone.
I kinda have to agree with the different ear sizes. I can't wear the EarPod design because of that. The little "cutouts" in my ears where the earbud is supposed to sit is two slightly different sizes with me, so they constantly fall out with any slight movement. Usually can only wear in ear stuff. But, I'm not going to bitch about it. The vast majority of people seem to really enjoy them, so I just give mine away when I get a new iPhone. There's always other options. -
New alleged 'iPhone 7' pictures surface, show installed Apple test software
Barring some miraculous cover-up by Apple, I think we can all agree that this is pretty much what the final product will look like. Maybe these aren't dead on, but we are way too far into the mass production stage for these to all be complete fakes and the final product being a totally different design. And for what it's worth, I think this looks quite nice. A refined iPhone 6 design. And no, it's not for everyone, I get that. I'm more interested in what's on the inside and what this new iPhone is capable of. -

Apple's Cook, Maestri bullish on short- and long-term iPhone SE impact
While a lot of family and friends of mine have purchased and love the SE, it is primarily the price that sold them on the phone. The feature set, while amazing at that price, was mostly irrelevant to most people. Even when I hang out at the Apple Store, people will ask the differences between the SE and the 6s and the Specialist will list all of the features and once they hit the price difference, conversation over, sold on the SE. So, I can see why the SE is so popular and I don't think it's totally because of the internals. That only appeals to a small set of consumers. Most consumers are sold on price, and in Canada at least, the difference is quite a bit. A 16GB SE is $579 while a 16GB 6s is $899. So I can see why, at least here, the SE is selling well. -
Supply chain expects 2nd-gen Apple Watch in September or October
I'm mostly looking forward to the advances to the SiP (most likely will be the S2) to see how much faster and more powerful it can be. Really, my biggest issue with the Watch is speed and load times. But if that can all be solved in software by watchOS 3 and later, then I'll be pretty happy. But I'm sure there will be features that will require more powerful hardware.
