  • Compared: AirPods Max vs AirPods Max with USB-C

I think even Apple combine all AirPods Pro features to the AirPods Max, it won’t save this product line, specially it has to shoot higher price level.
At $549, most of the people will buy it may already bought it within the last 4 years, if Apple did add all latest AirPods Pro features to APMax@$649, I don’t think it will boost the sales figure much, to cover the re-engineering cost.
Dramatically upgrade the sound quality is the tentpole to the next upgrade, BT6 may not enough, for Apple perspective, the present technology seems unachievable yet, so there is no APMax 2, if ever. The port and color update just lower the barrier to newcomer, if any, and to extend the production facilities live longer for economics scale.
Wireless Studio Headphone for professional use, I mean for the people who do music for living is quite unrealistic target market. If you pursue high quality of sound, $549 has many other option in the market.
So, a fanboy needs high quality sound and willing to pay $549, and haven’t buy APMax yet, the UPDATE is for you, the pyramid in the niche market, I can imagine the demand curve may almost stand vertical.
Apple makes a move for such a small group of people, it is a generosity.
    Hallelujah.

  • Apple's iPhone water resistance has a big catch, claims new lawsuit

The terms should be, “without physical damage, “water warranty” for first 12 months (or any reasonable time frame) after the device bought from authorize dealer”.

I don’t think too many people will push their iPhone to the limit beyond the IP67 standards, just for free repairing.

  • Apple Watch users are getting asked about features, battery life, and use of smart rings

I am not blaming the Apple nowadays, just missing the old days, there is a market or product leader, a real leader, a pioneer, who lead an industry, drives people to the place where he knows it is better, the place no one think it does exist, or, if it really doesn’t exist, he create it.

We want something because it is better, we think it is better, until someone tells us it is wrong, we doubt, we laugh, then, he prove it, we buy it.
    Thank you Steve.

  • Apple accused of using privacy to excuse ignoring child abuse material on iCloud

One day, the title will become :

“Apple accused of using CSAM detection to ignoring privacy protection on iCloud”

If you have to know a piece of information is lawful or evil, you must look into it, investigate it, examine it, check it or even compare it to some other information, and all of these activities are not suppose to be related to “Privacy”, not mention that if we know what/where is the targeted information, txt? pic? video? voice message? When does it happen?
Scan everything relate to iCloud in real time, all users around the world? How about once a month?
I am not saying that Apple should do nothing, but what and how to do it?
Find something out of something but you are not allowed to touch it or not even have a look, or a peek….
Even use Computer or AI to look for CSAM, it must go through a manned process to do the final judgement before it become a case, how about it is a picture of someone just standing next to a child mannequin? False alarm, then “someone” privacy was exposed. How about a wife recording the father changing the diaper very first time? False alarm, but the naked baby exposed, then?

  • Apple to reclaim wetlands near its Iowa data center

Let’s rule Epic Games and Spotify share the cost, just for future lawsuit prevention, so they will own a part of it, and share the benefits from the project, a priceless natural environment. XD
