Jony Ive designs $60,000 turntable for Scottish hi-fi pioneers

Good thing I am deaf since birth and have no abilities to enjoy listening to the music and such. I'll spend £50,000 on something useful than obsessing over the "perfect" sound system...

New 24-inch iMac in production testing, but won't ship until late 2023
My second brand-new Mac computer that I bought was 27" iMac (Mid-2010). I still have it to this day despite its ageing features that no longer work with the newer macOS and its latest features. For me 27" screen is perfect size, and all-in-one design is also perfect. I am still waiting for Apple to release the new iMac in larger size such as 27" or 32" to replace my current iMac. I am not interested in having to buy separate mac mini, monitor, webcam, etc. with so many cables; I just want all-in-one Mac with just one cable for power supply. An Australian company, Juicy Crumb, has come up with the retrofit kit that allows the owners of 27" iMac (from 2011 on) to replace the logic board, graphic card, and a few components with latest generation mac mini (of course, without its aluminium housing). Whether it's a genuine item or vapourware remains to be seen. -
Apple releases watchOS 7 update for Apple Watch
Does anyone have issues of upgrading their Series 3 to watchOS 7 due to insufficient space? The upgrade required at least 3.1 GB of free space, and I only had 2.8 GB available. I couldn't figure out where to free up more space so I had to do the new installation of watchOS 6 before upgrading to watchOS 7. When I tried to restore my profile from the back-up, I got the messages that it couldn't be done due to weird errors. I had wasted a lot of time here... -
16-inch MacBook Pro release, MacBook Air updates predicted for September
My mid-2010 MBP 17" still goes strongly albeit stuck at macOS High Sierra. I only replaced the HDD with SSD and upgraded the memory cards to 8GB. The batteries are still holding the juice and haven't swollen up like some do. I can trick the installer to bypass the system restriction when installing Mojave. The only disadvantage is problematic updates that can crash the whole macOS. -
Apple Pay debuts in Poland with support for 8 banks
michasam said:cancerman said:Well thats alot more then here in sweden. We have three or four banks so far that support Apple PayYet, Pay works pretty much everywhere in Germany and Austria as well. I stopped updating the list of retailers, restaurants, etc. that accept Pay a couple of years ago. Even the public toilets at the train stations accept Pay even for €0,60 entrance fee!One thing I notice is any card readers that have bright red Sparkassen-Händlerservice stickers on them don't accept Pay after working fine for a couple of years. I contacted Sparkassen-Händlerservice to enquire about it, but nothing from them. Another reason to hate Sparkasse, the most vile of all banks in Germany!
