Now we know where Jony Ive has been working since Thursday.
    LOL

But may not be far from the truth in the future. I imagine everyone is going to want to work with him,
Samsung walking into Jony Ive office, see Huawei already sit there waiting.
LOL. You obviously haven't seen any recent Samsung or Huawei flagships. Believe me, neither of them need Sir Jony Ive.

In fact, Apple could learn a thing or two from the design of recent flagships from both companies (or even Oppo and OnePlus).
My house is in downtown and every time I’m going out I see advertisings of Samsung and Huawei flagship phones on massive billboards everyday (Oh Oppo too). Tries again. Not everyone has shitty taste in design like yours.
So, what is shitty about the design?

General consensus doesn't share your opinion but if you could detail the shitty design it would at least lend support to your claim.

Many see the S10 Flagships as the best designs on the market right now. P30 Pro is in the same league.

    Far from shitty.

S10 is just an evolution of S9 and so on and so forth. I didn’t care for it. Didn’t care for curved screen. Many like it? By all means. My problem is Samsung design language is never consistent enough across variety of products that should be in the same category, and that shows it has no design language.
P30 Pro? Half S10 half iPhone X with as minimal notch as they can? Amateurish.

  • Apple TV trails behind Roku, other TV platforms in US device sales

I don’t have any problem using the remote. Granted, occasionally I pick it up upside down, but still, it doesn’t deserve the hate. And the UI is fast and responsive.

As to this survey, it seems to be including TVs with built in streamers. Not really like for like.

Anyway, IMHO the Apple TV’s only problem is price. It should be half what it is. Most competitor products can be had for less than a quarter the price.

The remote is awesome and the kids here use it without issue. The best thing to do is get a case and that not only protects it but fixes the orientation issue.

Yes it includes built in TV streamers that many people will never use. So this is dumb.

I think Apple TV is priced right. Especially if they release an 12X version later this year. I don't see Apple releasing a cheap version but possibly dropping the HD version down to $49.99.
I don't get the hate on Apple remote. Admittedly my hand is small so the remote fit me perfectly. It has less buttons so you’ll learn how to use it pretty quick. That’s also what I love about it.
I bought my TV only for its screen quality, never care for “smartness” aspect of it. I just plugged in my Apple TV and be done with it. Click a remote and it will turn on both my Apple TV *and* my TV. Fabulous! It has Plex, Infuse, iTunes with one click movie renting and buying, Apple Music, etc. It even has WWDC app, and it doesn’t feel old even after almost 4 years on.

    What more can you ask?

  • Apple switches off Back to My Mac remote access for all users

Is this because of security reason? I can’t think of any other.
