Just because you can do something on Windows doesn't mean you will do it well. From my experience of decades of using Windows it can do almost everything but only a small subset of those is doing well. It’s a no brainer. Personally I think relying on TV OS is stupid. You buy TV because of picture quality, not the OS, and you will change your TV because of picture quality. Using Apple TV will give you consistent OS experience throughout all these TV purchases.
