  • Ron Howard's Imagine jumps ship from Apple TV+ to Amazon

Not surprised given Amazon's broader push into movies: buying MGM, bigger spend on cinema the last few years, and now reports of them moving into actual theatre ownership. They already highlighted plans to release 12-15 movies in theatres annually. Directors & Producers love that kind of thinking.
I can't wait to buy an Amazon Kindle the next time I am in a movie theatre! /s In all honesty, I am sure they will have a kiosk for Amazon products if they buy out a movie theatre company!

  • There is much more coming from the Steve Jobs Archive

Imagine @stevejobs still driving @Apple to create beyond, it’s unimaginable…
Imagine if Walt Disney were alive too...... visionaries pass but their influence will always live on.

A lot of people may say that Apple would be better off if Steve were still alive, but a lot forget that Steve also had a lot of failures. Fact is, Steve is no longer with us. Apple is a living corporation that cannot stand still just because the co-founder has passed on. Lets celebrate where Apple has gone and either love them for where they have been and are currently going or as a user, time to move on as well.

I for one, celebrate both. Apple may be a trillion-dollar company but I firmly believe they still give a damn for their users, and to better the world, one product at a time.

  • Apple's AI event was mostly a team-building exercise

I don’t think anyone was expecting product announcements at this?

  • Future Mac Pro may use Apple Silicon & PCI-E GPUs in parallel

No reason to believe this will actually happen until eGPU is actually supported on the latest versions of macOS.
Wasn’t there a rumor recently that the MacPro was being tested on a version of the macOS that is not available to the public, either in beta form or otherwise? Perhaps the version they were testing it on has support for eGPUs.

  • Apple and Google abuse market dominance, says Japan antitrust regulator

And if they wanted to make up revenue from lost App Store sales, they could start jacking up developer account fees and even start charging for the developer tools.
How would jacking up fees and charging for developer tools retain developers from their platform over a free platform?

Apple should be able to charge these third party stores “rent” for being on iOS. But then, I’m sure there would be an outcry that Apple is charging.

How dare Apple charge a third party store being on a platform that Apple made! /s
