When I hit command W this closes the pop-up, this closes it. This does not work for you?dewme said:To make matters worse, the app-modal window that pops up does not close when you press the Escape key, or any other key that I can determine. There's also no close button. You have to click the mouse on the weather app's main window outside of the popup to escape out of the popup. If you drag the app window when the popup is up it sometimes disappears, but not always. This is not a showstopper, but it's rather odd, unless my expectations regarding the Escape key and closing popups no longer apply.

I’ve been running Ventura betas on my M1 MacBook Air with only 8 GBs of memory and it finally feels like it is the speed that they marketed the machine to be. It feels very optimized for the hardware. I can’t wait to see how it’s going to feel on my M1 MacBook Pro Max with 64 GBs of memory! -

Do you honestly think with all the money that Apple has in the bank, all the money that they spend on R&D that they do not want innovative products? There are so many ways you can design a laptop, an all-in-one, an ultra-thin desktop, beyond that it being functional. You better believe Apple is always looking at ways, but if it ain't broke, why fix it?
