Who should stay on and who should leave the EU App Store
It costs money to run a store. Nobody is doing this unless it gets them around AppStore rules. There might be a small number of developers with paid apps that might benefit from the new terms and stay on the store. Although I would worry about developers selling an app upfront then removing it to avoid paying ongoing fees. The consumer loses as they never really owned the app. Games sell a lot up front, so they could sell a lot then remove it from the store in a year or two. The new Unity installation fees may do the same. -
