I’m sure Apple is prototyping a foldable phone as well as other devices that might never become an actual product. But as others have pointed out where’s the demand for this sort of thing.  Samsung and other android manufacturers have produced several models but who’s buying them? I’ve only seen one, a Galaxy Flip which was pretty useless as the two screens were too small to be used easily and it was over $2000 ! Can’t see Apple actually bringing a folding anything in the future unless the technology improves a lot. 

If you want to know more about Jobs Becoming Steve Jobs by Brent Schlender and Rick Tetzeli is very good and shows how nuanced and intelligent he was. Please don’t read the awful Issacson book as it’s crap. 

Again with the foldable iPhone/ipad bullshirt. Apple are very likely to be working on such products because the android makers are but seriously who’s buying them. I’ve only seen one which was a galaxy flip which was pretty useless. I doubt Apple will ever release a foldable seeing it’s been such a flop for Samsung etc. 

Does anyone still use Java for anything ?

What a cool guy, putting all that effort into what is frankly a pointless thing to do, I love that he made this thing. Hopefully he’ll put out a video of how it was done, this guy is definitely the hacker of the century.
