Attractive isn’t the first word that comes to mind when looking at this. 

My late-2016 MBP died last year and Apple replaced it free of charge with the highest end 16” MBP. Am I going to replace it for a M1 Mac anytime soon? Hell no! Google Maps has always been superior to Apple Maps. Anytime an app opens up Apple Maps on my iPhone I let out a big sigh. I’m still rocking a 1st generation iPhone SE, so fancy do dads really don’t impress me. Let Apple and Intel have their pissing contest. 

I was at the Apple Store over the weekend and one of store employees said to me “Can you imagine what Apple would be like today if Steve Jobs lived? Vastly different than Tim Cook’s Apple.” I agreed concurrently. 

The hypocrites are coming out of the woodwork in droves. Match.com is hardly small, it owns and operates the largest global portfolio of popular online dating services including Tinder, Match.com, Meetic, OkCupid, Hinge, PlentyOfFish, Ship, and OurTime totalling over 45 global dating companies. They had total revenue of over $2 Billion in 2019. 

I always groan when some app opens Apple Maps instead of Google Maps.
