I've been doing recreational bouldering — rock climbing in a gym setting — 2-3 times a week for over thirteen years. I assure you my back is very strong, and flexibility pretty above average.

My posture issues are due to a childhood spent being a nerd who spent all his time being hunched over trying to avoid attention. In my case, at least, it had nothing to do with lack of exercise, just a lifetime of bad habits.

The Upright Go is just a friendly tap, "dude, you're slouching." This subtle reminder reinforces good habits. Maybe not everyone needs that, but anyone who thinks they might should go for it.

p.s. $100 isn't really that much money, about $75 in 2000's money and fifty bucks from when I was a kid.

Sort of. Three IO ports instead of four sounds less functional to me.

slight correction — I suppose it would be very very difficult to calculate 64bit instructions on a Pentium, so let's just say "the very slowest 64bit cpu imaginable" instead
