  • Apple will try to right the Apple Intelligence Siri ship, but don't expect firings

Outsiders don't know what's going on internally at Apple.  Why would outsiders want people fired when they don't know the cause of the delays?  That's so selfish and inconsiderate.  Employees may be working very hard to sort things out and if they run into problems, they shouldn't be fired for that.  I don't think Apple should attempt to rush incomplete products to consumers.  If Apple made a mistake in thinking they could finish a product on time, I suppose it can't be helped.  I'm not going to accuse Apple of scamming consumers, as I don't know that for certain.  I'm not concerned or angry because I'm not buying Apple products for A.I. features.  I'm mainly interested in the hardware quality.  I'm happy using Apple products, and I think Apple does a lot more good than bad.  That's just my opinion as an Apple computer owner since the Mac 128.  In this tough economy, I sure don't want employees fired, especially if they can't find replacement jobs.

  • Calls for Tim Cook's resignation over Apple Intelligence miss that he has made Apple what ...

I'm quite happy with Apple's latest hardware announcements.  The latest MacBooks, the Mac mini, the Mac Studio, etc. seem to be fine products and rivaling the best consumer products in the industry.  I'm not interested in A.I., so I'm not in any hurry to see it take over.  In my opinion, A.I. is highly overrated.  I don't want Cook to resign or to be fired, as I don't know if there is someone better to take his place.  I'm a 20-year Apple shareholder, and I'm very satisfied with Apple's financial performance.  Every company goes through problems, so I'm not concerned about it, as I believe Apple will do its best to figure things out.  I couldn't do any better, as I don't have the ability to run any profitable company.  I can only depend on Apple internally solving whatever problems they have.  I think some people are too impatient or greedy and don't appreciate all the good Tim Cook has done for Apple over the years.  These people always boasting about how they could do better than Tim Cook, and I doubt they could run a company as well as he has.  I'm living a very comfortable life since owning Apple stock over the years.  I have nothing to complain about.  I enjoy using my current Apple products and will likely buy a new MacBook Pro this year, even if it doesn't have any A.I. features.

  • Apple's in-house chip design is the 'secret weapon' behind industry-beating performance

Wasn't that "secret" stolen by ex Apple engineers who started Nuvia (now Qualcomm)? XElite apparently has better performance per watt.
That's what I'm also thinking.  How did the X Elite chip catch up so quickly and has a far more powerful iGPU than what Apple chips have?  I'm sure that extra power must come at some cost in terms of battery life or thermals.  I'm still hoping ARM Holdings can delay the release of those Qualcomm chips due to a licensing dispute but I bet Qualcomm will simply end up paying the licensing fee.  Qualcomm always wins.

  • Analysts expect M4 Macs to drive premium PC demand in the short term

I think more people are using laptops while desktops are fading away.  Apple has a rather small market share, and I'm guessing it's due to the higher prices of Apple products.  Unfortunately, I think Apple will only manage to hold on to its current market share with no growth, at all.  Other companies will gladly flood the market with cheaper computers.

  • Lens maker Sony doesn't expect high demand for the iPhone 15

In a recent earnings report, Apple warned of weak iPhone sales for the remainder of the year, so this news isn't unexpected.  I'm surprised Apple hasn't sold off further.  Shareholders absolutely hate hearing that sort of news.  They seem to think that no matter how bad the economy is, a company should manage to sell as many products as when the economy is strong.  I suppose they'll just have to find a company that isn't affected by the economic downturn.  I'm sure there are a few out there.  Apple is too dependent upon consumers and should be attempting to get more sales from enterprise companies.
