  • First 40-gigabit USB 4 products shipping as soon as late 2020

I wonder when printers and scanners will implement the USB 4.0 standard and connector.  Also for the external storage devices.  Until then, we still need computers to have the USB - A connector.

  • Apple's break-up of iTunes will have little impact on libraries and playback for Mac users...

Mrs Rayz2016’s sister rang the day before the show to tell her that she needed to back up all her music because Apple would be deleting it and only supporting streaming in the next release.

Where does this nonsense come from?

    Probably from social media.

  • WhatsApp vulnerability left iOS open to spyware attack

Apple needs to remove the entire universe of facebook apps from the app store. Also needs to find a way of making sure the prior installed apps doesn't work. Apple needs to get serious of its privacy policy.

  • No, Adobe did not cancel its popular $10 Creative Cloud Photography plan

Adobe has a bad condition called "foot in the mouth" disease.  Seems like they want their customers to run away.

  • Apple's millennial leap from fading Golden Age icon to flexible, flashy plastic fashion

It's truly unfortunate so many deem the G4 Cube a failure.  I honestly don't care what other people think.  The Cube was a great machine that gave me adequate bang for the buck.  I own two Cubes which are still in use today.  They look as stunning today as they did when purchased 19 years ago.  Just looking at them inspires my own creativity.  No other Apple desktop really comes close to touching its design aesthetic, not even the 2012 Mac Pro.  The Cube is the ultimate in "flashy plastic fashion."
Couldn’t agree more. The Cube is easily one of Apple’s most iconic designs. I still have one that’s in pristine condition. After many years of use that brought much joy, it has now been relegated to my Apple Museum (aka the basement). With the brilliant studio display, the transparent keyboard/mouse, and the uber-cool Harmon Kardon Soundsticks, boy, nothing before or since (except for the first iPhone and to a lesser extent the first MacBook Air) has come close to being the ultimate conversation piece.
I still use the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks.  The set is currently hooked up to my Mac Pro 5,1 (2012).  The sound quality is still there.
