  • 'Apple File System' will scale from Apple Watch to Macs, replace HFS+

looking forward to all our clients wondering why they can't read their usb sticks at home or on older/other systems or pc's add nausea...
Should not have any impact on what media the device can read. It just just adds another supported filesystem. You don't need to reformat your removable media.

  • Apple brings coding to the iPad with Swift Playground

The next step should be to make a hypercard style development environment that lets someone build simple apps using swift as the programing / scripting language. The apps could be imported into Xcode at some point in the future and extended.

  • Rumor: Apple's 'iPhone 7' to ditch Space Gray for 'Deep Blue' color option

I think it gets added as an option if anything. Space Grey is pretty set as a color across all Apple's products now.

  • Rumor: Apple to debut iMessage for Android at WWDC 2016

While it is certainly possible It really doesn't make a lot of sense if iMessage was a selling point of iOS/MacOS and the hardware to run it. Unlike Apple Music, supporting iMessage on Android earns Apple no money and it is just another costly service to support. On the other hand, if Apple is going to do something big and try to get ahead of Google and Facebook and their respective messengers and bots then interoperability with Android will be required and the only way to ensure end to end encryption. Maybe Apple is going to announce some sort of new content sharing paradigm, like sharing a VR experience or Siri for home automation or a quasi social network and iMessage is a gateway to access and deliver it. iMessage on Android could be the trojan to also allow all kinds of iOS type service like AirDrop, Handoff, Live Photos FaceTime, etc...

  • Apple announces it will offer App Store subscriptions to all apps, take smaller 15% cut

Not too thrilled about the idea of subscriptions. I've got a lot of apps, I mean a LOT of apps. If even a small percentage goes subscription, then these apps will suddenly cost a lot more over time. That's not good.

if an app that now costs $5 is a subscription at $5 a year, how many people will even want it? Most of the apps I've obtained are useful just a few times a year. That's enough for me to spend a few bucks for, not not nearly enough to subscribe to. I suspect that if a lot of developers take this route, then their sales will drop substantially.
This issue of costs is apparently something many aren't grasping here. It is an extremely bad policy for consumers. As far as sales dropping I think consumers need to get aggressive here and boycott any developer entering into the subscription program. Make them eat cake!!!!
In the end that doesn't work. People need apps / software and there will always be those that need them bad enough (or want them bad enough) to pay for for them. Everybody griped about Adobe going to a subscription model but their profits have increased steadily since. The market will weed out the developers that abuse it but if software has value people will pay for it as long as they feel they are getting something in return.
