Battery manufacturers have to meet standards. Batteries that do not meet safety standards should not be on sale anywhere. Apple should be able to say that any brand of AAA batteries that meets standards will be safe.

Unfortunately there are corner cutting manufacturers and careless retailers all over the world that are pushing cheaply made batteries that are exposing us to danger.

Apple won't put USBC on the iPhone. USBC is bulky compared to Lightning, it uses more internal space and this restricts device thinness.

When Apple remove Lightning it will be replaced with a new technology far better and completely different to anything currently on the market.

These look like very clever renders photoshopped together with photos of an existing phone to get the reflection of the fingers on the screen.

Apple has been running ads on Instagram and a few weeks ago Swatch started shamelessly running almost identical ads with the words "your move". Recognizing that they had copied the Apple ad, I took the words as being directed towards Apple.

So it does not seem "coincidental" at all. It seems they are trying to go toe to toe with Apple in order to market themselves as an Apple competitor. I think this is because they have been hurt by Apple Watch sales.

it is extremely irritating that a professional writer would call it "paint" (even in the headline). Some writers do this kind of thing on purpose to generate clicks and stir debate.
